Salam Alikum and peace be upon you,
I've alot of exes and programs, I wrote a simple application called zRun to simply and quickly execute and launch those exes using small letters on the Run command panel, but this is not what i'm talking about now, Now I will tell you how to add any exe file name so you can just run it by typing its name without the file path on the Run command panel, see the following screenshot.

Adding program or exe to the Run command panel

How to do this ?

To do this, open up your Registry Editor by typing "regedit" on your Run command, on the registry editor go to following key path.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \App Paths

The Windows Registry Editor and the App Path key

Now all you need to do is to create a new key, rename it to your exe filename with the .exe extension, now on the defualt value on the right side, double click to edit value, and place the full exe file path like the following

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\moviemk.exe]
@="C:\\Program Files\\Movie Maker\\moviemk.exe"

That's all, now get back to your Run command and type your exe, hit enter and file name it will work ISA :-), Enjoy!.
